About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Pharmacy Service Manager to lead the daily operations and contribute to the growth and expansion of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will report directly to the CEO while ensuring that the pharmacy consistently delivers excellent service, maintains operational excellence, and drives the realization of our vision to be the pharmacy of choice.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Develop and implement stocking strategies that reduce expired products and ensure consistent availability of essential and scarce items.
Provide top-notch customer service, meeting the needs of patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders with a professional and caring approach.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, regulators, bankers, and the local community to uphold the pharmacy’s reputation.
Manage financial activities such as accurate record-keeping, inventory control, banking, and ensuring timely payments for staff and statutory obligations.
Design and execute strategies for customer retention and engagement to build a stable and loyal customer base.
Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages communication, ownership, and alignment with the pharmacy’s growth objectives.
Support the Pharmacist in ensuring a professional atmosphere and assist in various roles as needed.
Stay updated on industry trends and continuously improve service quality through professional development.
Qualifications
A minimum of an HND (Higher National Diploma) in a relevant field.
Previous managerial experience in a pharmacy or a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
Being a pharmacist is an advantage but not a requirement.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a big-picture outlook, creative problem-solving abilities, and a readiness to learn and grow.
